Today, I'm sharing my simple method for Steamed Artichokes with Lemon Dijon Aioli.
Growing up, my mom would steam artichokes a few times each spring and we'd sit around the table with a bowl of melted butter to dip the leaves into. As an adult, it's rare that I take the time to prepare a full artichoke even though I use jarred artichoke hearts in my cooking all the time.
I thought I'd take today to walk through the steps of preparing steamed artichokes for all of you, in case you haven't enjoyed this simple delicacy. I've included a simple dipping sauce idea, but you can also use melted butter, a balsamic vinaigrette, or enjoy them plain.
